On the second day of the 2025 draft, the Toronto Blue Jays’ first pick is the 112th overall pick.

There are plenty of talented prep players remaining in MLB Pipeline’s top 100, but the Blue Jays likely won’t have the money to sign those players. Even if Jake Cook signs for below the slot value, JoJo Parker will take up nearly $7 million of the $10.315 million the Jays have in their bonus pool.

That said, there are still quite a few top 100 prospects the Jays could target with the 112th overall pick, as well as some other notable players.

Let’s take a look at who the Jays could draft on day two of the draft.

Jacob Parker

With the eighth overall pick, the Blue Jays selected JoJo Parker. They may get a chance to draft twin brother, Jacob, with the 112th overall pick. Jacob ranks as MLB Pipeline’s 109th-best draft prospect and plays in the outfield.

Like his twin brother, Jacob has a 55 power tool, along with above-average speed, an above-average arm, and above-average fielding. What separates the two brothers is that Jacob’s hit tool sits at 40, compared to JoJo’s 60 hit tool.

Another difference is that Jacob plays in the outfield, while JoJo is a shortstop (for now).

Gavin Turley

Another power-hitting outfielder who could be available when the Blue Jays pick 112th overall is Gavin Turley. Ranked as MLB Pipeline’s 78th-best draft prospect, Turley has plus power, above-average speed, and a strong arm. He has a slightly better hit tool than Parker, as Pipeline grades it a 45.

Last season with Oregon State, Truly slashed .351/.472/.649 with 20 home runs in 307 plate appearances with a 16.3 BB% and 22.1 K%. The swing and miss in his game is a little concerning, as he has a 26.5 K% for his collegiate career.

Jared Jones

First base will be blocked for another 14 and a half years, but Jared Jones’ power is legitimate. Last season with Louisiana State University, the first baseman slashed .323/.414/.613 with 22 home runs in 326 plate appearances. It’s down from the 28 home runs he hit the year before, but Jones has won two College World Series in his three seasons at LSU.

Jones caught early in his LSU career and even played the hot corner in 2025, but he’ll more than likely be a first baseman or designated hitter in professional ball. Ranked as MLB Pipeline’s 101st-best draft prospect, Jones was passed over twice in the two other times he’s been eligible for the draft.

Miguel Sime

Moving to pitchers, there are several intriguing prep pitchers still on the board, including 24 star Jack Bauer. The left-handed pitcher from Illinois has reached 103 mph with the fastball, which doesn’t happen often for left-handed pitchers at any capacity.

However, he’s out of the Blue Jays’ price range. Another flamethrower who could be available when the Jays draft 112th overall is Miguel Sime. The right-handed pitcher is committed to Louisiana State and features a fastball that sits in the upper 90s and hits triple digits. He also features a slider, which is considered above-average by MLB Pipeline.

Ranked as their 86th-best prospect, there is a significant concern about Sime’s inability to throw strikes. He also only has two pitches.

Jared Spencer

A left-handed pitcher who should be available 112th overall is Jared Spencer, who pitched the 2025 season with the University of Texas. His fastball sits in the mid-90s, while featuring a 65 graded slider and above-average changeup.

In his senior year, the 22-year-old had a 3.27 ERA and 3.89 FIP in 52.1 innings pitched, with a 29.3 K% and 10.2 BB%. Ranked as MLB Pipeline’s 113th-best prospect, Spencer received shoulder surgery before the end of the 2025 season, and there is some effort that goes into his delivery.

Pico Kohn

Another senior collegiate left-handed pitcher who should be available when the Blue Jays select 112th overall is Pico Kohn. The fastball only averages in the low-90s, but is hard to pick up due to the arm slot. He also pairs that with an above-average slider and an average changeup.

Ranked as MLB Pipeline’s 122nd-best draft-eligible prospect, Kohn’s control is graded 55 as he had an 8.3 BB% in 2025. The ERA of 4.73 was on the concerning side, but he struck out 32.6% of the batters he faced.
