Texas Rangers Snag Prospect From Cincinnati Reds

The Reds reassigned Lyon Richardson to minor league camp on Saturday. He was also optioned to Triple-A Louisville.

The Rangers claimed Jose Barrero after the Reds parted ways with him. He posted a .218 batting average and .295 on-base percentage with two home runs and 17 RBI in 133 at-bats last season.

The #Reds today reassigned to minor league camp and optioned to Triple-A Louisville RHP Lyon Richardson.

Additionally, IF/OF Jose Barrero was claimed off waivers by the Texas Rangers.
