There has been little worth watching about the Pittsburgh Pirates 2025 season, but one thing drawing fans to the park is the chance to continue watching franchise legend Andrew McCutchen make history.
His most recent accomplishment came on the road in San Diego however, as he hit the 240th home run of his career to tie Roberto Clemente for third all-time in Pirates history. The 38 year old veteran also worked his way into the ninth spot in all-time hits in Bucs history, passing Hall-of-Famer Arky Vaughn in a two-hit game against the Padres.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. The Pirates are 22-38 and in a distant-last place in the National League Central, but hitting .264 and mashing two home runs in two games, McCutchen at least is proving he's still a productive Major Leaguer. With that being said, can you name every active MLB player with at least 1,000 hits in their career can you name in six minutes?
Good luck!
