The 'Active MLB complete games' quiz

Houston Astros starting pitcher Framber Valdez was one of the best players remaining on the free agent market, but now he’s a Detroit Tiger. 

Valdez and the Tigers agreed to a three-year, $115 million contract , joining a rotation that’s headlined by two-time Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal and a team that blew a historic lead in the A.L. Central but still made the ALDS before losing to Seattle in five games. 

Valdez has played his entire eight-year career so far with the Houston Astros, posting a 3.36 ERA with 1,053 strikeouts in 166 starts. He also posted nine complete games, threw a no-hitter and helped deliver a World Series in 2022. But after some apparent issues with Valdez on the diamond and the Astros missing the playoffs for the first time in nine seasons, Houston decided to let Valdez move on. 

Which brings us to today’s quiz. While complete games are an increasingly-rare feat in Major League Baseball, Valdez has been one of the few with the ability and leash to still get it done. With that being said, can you name the active MLB pitchers with at least five complete games in their career?
