The 'A.L. batting champs since 1993' quiz

Veteran Mookie Betts has accomplished a ton in his 13-year MLB career.

He’s won four World Series rings, seven Silver Sluggers, six Gold Gloves and an MVP award.  But he found another milestone to reach against the Minnesota Twins, hitting his 300th-career home run in a 4-3 win to help the Dodgers complete the sweep of Minnesota.

The future Hall of Famer has struggled a bit at the plate this season – hitting .230 compared to his career batting average of .289 with nine home runs and 21 RBI – but it hasn’t mattered for the ludicrously-stacked Dodgers lineup. L.A. currently has the best winning percentage in baseball and holds a nine-game cushion over the second-place San Diego Padres in the National League West.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Betts’ MVP season came in 2018 with the Boston Red Sox, the same season he won the A.L. Batting Title with a .346 average – the best in all MLB. With that being said, can you name every AL batting champion since 1993?

Good luck!
