The 'American League batting champions' quiz

The World Baseball Classic was a star-studded affair in 2023, ending with Shohei Ohtani striking out Mike Trout to win the championship. The 2026 edition of the event should be just as fun, with Bobby Witt Jr. committing to play with captain Aaron Judge next March. Witt Jr. played sparingly on the 2023 squad, recording one hit and one RBI in two at-bats in five games. But with a second-place MVP season, American League batting title and potentially three-consecutive 30-home run, 30-stolen base seasons under his belt, he’ll likely have a much larger role.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the players to win the American League batting title since 1995 can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
