The 'Manager playoff wins leaders' quiz

Happy birthday to one of the legendary figures in baseball history, manager Tommy Lasorda!

Lasorda had a short and unremarkable career as a Major League pitcher, and in 1960 he was hired by the Los Angeles Dodgers as a scout. Six years later, he got his first managerial position with the rookie league Pocatello Chiefs before eventually working his way to the Big League staff in 1973 as a third-base coach. 

He was appointed the Dodgers manager in 1976, a position he’d hold for two decades. In his 21 seasons as skipper, he won 1,599 games, four National League pennants, two World Series titles and two Manager of the Year designations. 

Lasorda retired from managing in 1996 but stuck around the organization, serving as vice president and general manager. He came out of retirement to manage Team USA at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, where he led them to a gold medal with a victory over Cuba. The Hall of Famer lived to the age of 93 before passing away in January 2021.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Lasorda’s 31 wins in the postseason are the 13th-most in baseball history. With that being said, can you name every manager to win at least 20 playoff games?
