The 'MLB 400-HR club' quiz

Three players were inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame over the weekend, with Carlos Beltran, Andruw Jones and Jeff Kent all getting enshrined in Cooperstown, New York.

While all were special players, Jones stands out as the first-ever player from Curacao to reach the Hall of Fame. Jones made his MLB debut on August 15, 1996 with the Atlanta Braves, where he’d spend the first 12 of his 17-year career. After playing just 31 games in 1996, Jones took over as the Braves full-time starter in the outfield in 1997. By 1998 he won his first of 10-career Gold Gloves while also reaching the 30-home run milestone for the first time.

Jones reached 30 homers seven times between 1998 and 2006, leading all of baseball with 51 dingers in 2005. After leaving the Braves following the 2007 season, Jones bounced around the Dodgers, Rangers, White Sox and Yankees, but he wasn’t the same player.

He retired after playing 94 underwhelming games for New York in 2012, and has finally joined his peers of the greatest center fielders in baseball history in the Hall of Fame.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Jones is one of 59 players in baseball history to reach the 400-home run club, retiring with 434 HRs to go with 1,933 hits and 1,289 RBIs. With that being said, can you name every player to hit at least 400 home runs in their career?

Good luck!
