Just before the Chicago Bears began their 2026 season against the Carolina Panthers, they gave running back D’Andre Swift a three-year, $33.75 million contract extension. He rewarded them immediately, rushing for a TD for each year of his extension to go with 124 yards in the Bears 59-37 win in Charlotte.

Head coach Ben Johnson’s offense was firing on all cylinders, finishing with the second-most points in a Week 1 game ever and the fourth-most yards of total offense in franchise history with 522.

In their first season with Johnson at the helm, the Bears finished 11-6 and authored an unbelievable comeback against the Green Bay Packers to win their first playoff game since the 2010 season. With even higher aspirations for the 2026 campaign, the Bears showed they have the steak to back up the preseason sizzle.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Swift has been a consistently productive running back in each of his six previous NFL seasons, reaching at least five touchdowns in every campaign of his career so far.
