For the second year in a row, Cleveland Guardians and Milwaukee Brewers managers Steven Vogt and Pat Murphy have been named American and National League Managers of the Year.
Vogt managed his team to a historic comeback in the American League Central to win the division over the Detroit Tigers, climbing out of what was at one point a 15.5-game hole. Unfortunately for Guardians fans, they fell to those same Tigers 2-1 in the American League Wild Card round.
Murphy, meanwhile, led the Brewers to the best record in Major League Baseball in 2005 and a berth in the National League Championship Series since 2018. That was where the magic ended at the hands of the eventual-World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers.
Which brings us to today's quiz. Can you name ever manger to be named Manager of the Year in their respective leagues since 2000?
Good luck!
