The 'MLB pitching Triple Crown winners' quiz

Pitching health has been a major problem for the Los Angeles Dodgers this season, but the St. Louis Cardinals may have helped get one of their former Cy Young winners on track. Before his start at Busch Stadium, the Cardinals played highlights of Kershaw giving up an NLDS home run to former Cardinals first baseman Matt Adams.

Kershaw responded on the mound with the best start of his young season, going five innings while giving up one run on six hits with seven strikeouts for his first win of 2025. He also responded in his post-game press availability.

“I think it’s a little bush league, but I don’t expect anything less from these guys,” Kershaw said of the organization he’s mostly held down to the tune of a 12-6 record with a 2.84 ERA in 23 career starts.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Kershaw may be at the tail end of his Hall-of-Fame career, he could still be an important piece of the Dodgers starting rotation the rest of the season. With that being said, can you name every pitcher to win the Triple Crown in the Live-Ball Era?

Good luck!
