Despite a 39-42 record, the Texas Rangers find themselves just 1.5-games out of first place in the American League West, and they’ll hope that some help has arrived.
Rangers shortstop Corey Seager – who missed the last 12 games with a concussion – returned to the Rangers lineup for their 6-5 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. He didn’t record a hit, but he did walk twice and scored on Jake Burger’s third-inning home run.
Seager is a 12-year veteran and World Series MVP, and has been one of the best shortstops in baseball over the last decade. But while he’s launched nine homers of his own, he’s hitting what would easily be a career-worst .183 in 48 games so far in 2026.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. If the Rangers are able to reach the postseason in an apparently-weak A.L. West, having Seager’s postseason experience could be very valuable. With that being said, can you name the MLB players with the most playoff home runs?
Good luck!
