Happy 39th birthday to four-time MLB All-Star, two-time National League Hoffman Reliever of the Year and 2020 World Series champion, Kenley Jansen!

Jansen made his Major League debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2010, and he was a staple of their bullpen for more than a decade. He spent 12 years coming out of the bullpen for the Dodgers, where he posted three 40-save seasons and led the National League with 41 in 2017. Known for his nasty stuff, Jansen racked up 1,022 K’s in 705 innings, but didn’t get his ring until the COVID-shortened 2020 season.

Jansen departed Los Angeles after the 2021 campaign and just completed his 17th MLB season and his first as a Detroit Tiger. He recorded another 22 saves in 50 appearances this year to give him 498 in his career, good for the active lead and third all-time behind just Mariano Rivera and Trevor Hoffman.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. While he isn’t participating in the playoffs this season, Jansen sits second all-time in MLB Postseason saves with 20 in his career. With that being said, can you name the MLB pitchers with at least five playoff-saves to their credit?
