The 'Most multi-HR games by MLB team' quiz

Mike Trout went 2-for-5 with two home runs – one to tie the game in the sixth-inning and another to take the lead in the eighth – in the Angels series-opener with the New York Yankees.

But an all-too-familiar scenario played out for Trout and the Angels, Aaron Judge and Trent Grisham both homered twice and Jose Caballero scored on a wild pitch for the Yankees to a walk-off win.

Despite the loss, Trout said he recognized how special the battle between him and Judge was.

“A fun one to be part of. The loss is disappointing, but we fought throughout the whole game and battled back. To go blow for blow like that, it’s pretty cool.”

After playing in 100+ games for the second time in six seasons in 2025, the Angels star is hoping to put together another mostly-full season in 2026. So far he’s hitting just .224, but has bashed four home runs, driven in 12 runs, walked 15 times and scored an MLB-high 16 runs on the young season.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. The game was Trout’s 31st of his career with more than one home run, the most in Angels history. With that being said, can you name the players with the most multi-HR games for each MLB franchise?

Good luck!
