After the Toronto Blue Jays rode another home run from Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and multiple Houdini escape acts from rookie pitcher Trey Yesavage to win Game 6 of the ALCS, a Game 7 is needed to decide the champion of the American League.
If the Mariners are going to avoid blowing the 2-0 advantage they had early in this best-of-seven series, they’re going to need Julio Rodriguez to regain the form he had in those games. Through the first two games of the ALCS J-Rod reached base five times with three walks and two hits, including a three-run home run in Seattle’s 8-2 win in the Rogers Centre in Game 2. But since then he’s just 2-for-14 with two RBIs in their Game 3 blowout loss at home.
The Seattle Mariners are looking to make their first World Series in franchise history, and will likely need their best players to contribute if they’re going to do it.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Rodriguez is one of the most exciting individual players in baseball, becoming just the 18th player in MLB history with multiple 30-homer, 30-stolen base seasons. With that being said, how many of those players can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
