The Texas Rangers won the World Series in 2023, and they are already winning in 2024.
Despite not playing a game yet in the New Year, the Rangers have the lead on the rest of the league when it comes to promotional giveaways.
According to Paul Lukas of Uni-Watch, the Rangers are set to have at least three uniform-related giveaways in 2024, all of which center around their "City Connect" jerseys.
The Rangers have scheduled promotional nights for the three other Dallas major sports teams, and have created football, hockey and basketball versions of their City Connect jerseys as giveaways for those nights
By clicking on the links, you can see a Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks-themed version of the Rangers' jerseys, which were introduced in 2023.
In addition to being cool looking (especially the Stars and Mavericks), these will be a good collectible for Texas-based sports fans, and will be a good way to show civic pride.
And of course, these jerseys will be added to the rotation of the usual bobblehead nights, as well as some sure-to-come World Series-based giveaways. With this kind of promotional calendar, the Rangers should have no problem attracting attention at the ballpark.
And don't forget how good the team is, too: After winning the World Series, Texas brings back nearly its entire core of position players, and we'll get a full season of Evan Carter, who turned heads in the playoffs. They also will get Max Scherzer and Jacob deGrom back from injury at some point as well, which will help the starting rotation.
