The Detroit Tigers are gearing up for one of their biggest weekends of the season, at the gate.
According to Tony Paul of the Detroit News, the Tigers are now selling standing-room only tickets for all three games of this weekend's series against the Chicago Cubs.
With a strong demand from both fan bases, the club is expecting a total crowd of 120,000 from Friday through Sunday at Comerica Park. The three-game series is expected to draw the largest June home crowd since at least 2016.

The Tigers, who currently own the best record in Major League Baseball, will send ace Tarik Skubal to the mound Friday night after manager A.J. Hinch pushed his start back one day to line up with the series opener.
The added draw of a promotional giveaway, a baseball bat sling cooler, on Saturday has only fueled ticket demand. All three games are listed as "selling fast" on StubHub, with tickets still available for under $70.
Sunday's game, a fan favorite as Kids Day, also starts in the afternoon and is trending toward a sellout as well.
With both the Tigers and Cubs in postseason contention and fanbases that travel well, the buzz surrounding the I-94 rivalry is real and Comerica Park is set to be rocking all weekend.
