There are only 10 MLB games scheduled to take place on May 7, including a doubleheader between the Mets and the Rockies. There’s no shortage of hitters, and home runs are sure to fly out of the park. As predicted yesterday, Pete Alonso and Aaron Judge went deep in their respective games. Today’s is different with several hot hitters.
While this is our long shot for today, it’s still hard to put Jarren Duran off the list. The Red Sox will open a series against the Tampa Bay Rays. Duran has the odds set to +600 and will hopefully crush his fifth MLB home run this season.
Bregman is having a slow start with the Chicago Cubs after crushing only three home runs. He’s slugging .245, and the Cubs have certainly expected more. However, there is plenty of time for this MLB season to unfold.
The Baltimore Orioles are picking up the pace, and Gunnar Henderson has been a bright spot. With nine home runs this MLB season, Henderson is trying to get his team on track. Watch out for the slugger to go deep as the O’s open a series against the Athletics.
The San Diego Padres are still a threat to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Manny Machado is doing everything he can to carry the team forward. Machado has five homers, and the odds are set for +395 tonight. The Padres will open a series against the Cardinals.
The Philadelphia Phillies have struggled this MLB season, but Bryce Harper has not. The All-Star has nine home runs with a .277 batting average. Harper tops the list tonight to go deep as they finish their series against the Oakland Athletics.
