With most teams taking a break on Monday, only a handful of games are scheduled today. Still, there are plenty of exciting MLB home run props to look out for, with several elite power hitters of the game taking the field.
There are a couple of big battles within the American League East before the big showdown of the week. The San Francisco Giants head to their arch-nemesis, the Los Angeles Dodgers, to start a four-game series.
Kazuma Okamoto is on a hot run with a nine-game hitting streak. So he is due for a home run soon after going four games without one. The Toronto Blue Jays slugger endured a big slump in April, but he is making up for it this month. He is batting 12-35 in May with seven extra base hits and 12 RBIs, including two home runs.
Mookie Betts is set to return to the Los Angeles Dodgers lineup on Monday. The eight-time All-Star spent the past five weeks on the IL recuperating from an oblique strain. He completed a short rehab stint this weekend after playing just eight games in the MLB this year. He was batting .179/.281/.429 with two home runs and seven RBIs at the time of his injury.
Mike Trout stayed healthy through the opening month and a half of the season while mashing at the plate in vintage fashion. He is the best batter for the Los Angeles Angels by a country mile, slashing .248/.414/.518 with 11 home runs and a 163 OPS+. He smashed eight long balls in April, so he seems due, considering he hit only one so far this month.
Corey Seager is having a quiet 2026 season up till now. The Texas Rangers obviously need him to get hot at the plate to continue their charge for a playoff berth. He had a big slump in April, which seems to be deepening further this month. Still, he has seven home runs for the season, so he is always capable of hitting one out of the park on any given day.
Aaron Judge laid the foundations for another MVP campaign over the first six weeks of the 2026 season. The New York Yankees captain has 2.6 bWAR to his name and leads the MLB with 16 home runs. He hit four homers so far this month, including one on Sunday. Judge homered in back-to-back games on five occasions already this MLB season.
