The outfielders for the Toronto Blue Jays had a game to remember yesterday at home against the Texas Rangers. Toronto’s starting outfielders each reached base at least four times and hit at least one home run. It was the first time in the modern era that a team’s starting outfield did that in the same game.
Left Fielder Davis Schneider finished 3-of-4 with a home run and 4 RBI, Center Fielder Daulton Varsho went 3-of-3 with a home run and 2 RBI, and Right Fielder Myles Straw had two home runs and 5 RBI. Can the Toronto Blue Jays keep it going in future games?

It has been a strong season for the Blue Jays. They hold a commanding five-game lead in the American League East. Toronto overtook the New York Yankees for the division lead following a rough stretch for the Yankees.
As was on display last night, Toronto’s offense has been its strength in 2025. They are leading the league in batting average, 12th in home runs, and sixth in runs scored. Shortstop Bo Bichette has been a critical part of the offense. He is 11th in the league in batting average and RBI. First Baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has also been good. He is in the top 10 in the league in batting average and OPS. It has been a committee-like approach on offense for the ballclub this season.
The Toronto Blue Jays go for the series sweep this afternoon against the Texas Rangers. If the Blue Jays can continue playing this well, no team will want to face them in the MLB Playoffs.
