In the fourth inning of Wednesday's 7-2 win over the Miami Marlins, Noelvi Marte hit the first pitch he saw deep into the left field seats for his fourth home run of the season and his first since returning from the injured list.
The third baseman is slashing .277/.330/.494 with nine extra-base hits in 24 games this season for the Reds.
“(My swing) feels good,” Marte said via interpreter Tomas Vera. “I have a good rhythm with my swing. I wasn’t having the contact point that I want, but I think I found that today.”
