Before the heat of the 2025 MLB season ramps up, sports fans—and Los Angeles Dodgers fans in particular—can relive the moments of the Dodgers' triumphant World Series win over the New York Yankees.

Apple TV released the first trailer for the documentary Fight for Glory on Monday, March 17. The trailer showcases the 2024 World Series matchup between the Dodgers and Yankees. The series will debut on Apple TV on March 28.

The trailer highlights two elite baseball franchises vying to add another championship trophy to their extensive collections. The Yankees were aiming for their 28th World Series title, their first since 2009, while the Dodgers sought their eighth championship title, tying them for the most in MLB history.

Derek Jeter, a former Yankees shortstop and Baseball Hall of Famer, serves as executive producer, and R.J. Cutler directs the series.

The documentary captures the emotions, intensity, and excitement of the Dodgers’ 4-1 series win, including the memorable moment when Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman hit a grand slam in the bottom of the tenth inning of Game 1, securing a 6-3 victory for Los Angeles.

Freeman, shortstop Mookie Betts, and designated hitter Shohei Ohtani are featured prominently in the first trailer. The series will offer never-before-seen perspectives from both teams, with more episodes set to reveal the energy and drama of the postseason.

The Dodgers defeated the Yankees in five games, with Freeman named World Series MVP.
