Duke junior left-handed pitcher Jonathan Santucci was selected 46th overall by the New York Mets in the 2024 MLB Draft. Santucci only pitched 58.0 innings in 2024 due in part to an injury, but he still performed well enough to be named an All-ACC First-Team player, striking out 90 in those innings. He misses a lot of bats with his 92-96mph fastball. The lefty also has an effective low-80s slider and mid-80s changeup in his pitch rotation.
