Watch: Rays' Jose Caballero starts crazy between-the-legs double play

Not all 6-4-3 double plays in the Major Leagues are created equal. The Tampa Bay Rays demonstrated that on Saturday afternoon against the New York Yankees.

With the bases loaded in the top of the first inning, Yankees first baseman Paul Goldschmidt smoked a ball at shortstop Jose Caballero. In one smooth motion, Caballero was able to knock the ball down while sliding to his left and then flip the ball between his legs to second baseman Brandon Lowe to start the double play.

While Lowe was initially called safe, the call was overturned to give the Rays the double play. It not only kept the Yankees off the scoreboard initially, but it also ended the inning.

Between Caballero's play, as well as the replay review, it is far from the most routine double play you will ever see. It was still really impressive to watch.
