Yankees' Aaron Judge Makes Personal Announcement Amid MLB Season

The New York Yankees are still awaiting the return of superstar right fielder Aaron Judge. The 34-year-old veteran has not appeared in game action since May due to a stress fracture in his right rib.

Judge has resumed swinging a bat among other baseball activities and is targeting a return when the Yankees come back to the Bronx for their next homestand.

Before going down, Judge was as impactful as ever, owning a .248 batting average, .375 on-base percentage, .907 OPS, 17 home runs and 38 RBIs across 59 games. In his absence the Yankees offense has not been the same force, yet they have still managed to win games and currently hold an American League wild card spot without him.

As Judge continues to prepare for his return to the Yankees, bypassing a rehab assignment, he has remained busy off the field making an impact in his community.

Judge founded the All Rise Foundation back in 2018 to help young adults and give back to the communities around him. He has remained active in funding the foundation and continuing its mission.

On Friday, Judge launched an auction to raise funds, revealing that supporters will be able to bid on experiences including seats to a Yankees home game, an autographed bat and much more. He also provided a link for fans to bid on the items for a charitable cause.

With Judge still doing what he can to make a positive impact away from the field, his focus remains on getting back as soon as possible.

Judge is one of the most accomplished players of his era and remains in search of his first World Series title. In a wide-open American League, this year could be one of his best chances to finally get one.
