
The New York Yankees placed outfielder Trent Grisham on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a right hamstring strain, while outfielder Jasson Dominguez was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Grisham, 29, left Friday's game against the San Diego Padres in the third inning with hamstring discomfort.
In 121 games this season, Grisham is batting .211 with 18 home runs and 59 RBIs. In 887 games over eight seasons, he is batting .217 with 122 home runs and 379 RBIs for the Milwaukee Brewers (2019), San Diego Padres (2020-23) and Yankees.
Dominguez, 23, was batting .230 with six home runs and 14 RBIs in 53 games with the Yankees earlier this season. Over four seasons with New York, he is a career .243 hitter with 22 home runs and 72 RBIs in 202 games.
