Jack Doherty, a well-known social media influencer, has challenged a former UFC champion to a fight.
Andrei Arlovski has reportedly been offered what has been described as the biggest payday of his career as part of an effort to resolve his growing feud with controversial influencer Jack Doherty.
The incident stems from a viral altercation backstage at the Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua, where Arlovski was filmed throwing punches after a confrontation involving Doherty and members of his entourage, shifting attention away from the event itself.
Following the clash, both sides have publicly portrayed themselves as the wronged party, with Doherty quickly escalating the situation online.
In a series of videos shared on X, Doherty challenged Arlovski to take part in a fight involving his security guard, suggesting it as a way to “do it the right way” and put the issue to rest. He claimed the bout would generate the biggest payday of Arlovski’s life, while also floating increasingly provocative alternatives, including a multi-person matchup against the former UFC champion.
Arlovski has already indicated openness to facing Doherty’s security guard in a legitimate bout, and the idea gained further traction after his manager, Ibrahim Kawa, publicly invited Doherty to make contact to move discussions forward.
While the social media-driven feud continues to gather attention, it comes at a potentially inconvenient time for Arlovski’s professional career.
The 46-year-old is scheduled to challenge Ben Rothwell for the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship heavyweight title on February 7. Since departing the Ultimate Fighting Championship just over a year ago, Arlovski has picked up wins across Dirty Boxing, BKFC and Misfits Boxing, building momentum ahead of his toughest test to date.
It remains unclear whether any bout involving Doherty’s camp would take place before or after the Rothwell title fight, but for now, the unusual rivalry risks becoming a major sideshow to one of the most important contests left in Arlovski’s career.
