Bouncing back from a turbulent end to his UFC career, Darren Till has been making his mark in the sport of boxing, going 4-0 in the sport since his debut. Recently, at Misfits Boxing 22 in Manchester, secured a third-round knockout victory over former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold, sending him into retirement.

This impressive performance marked Till's third consecutive win while fighting for Misfits (the influencer-boxing organization run by influencer KSI) and earned him the organization's bridgerweight title, positioning him for bigger, high-profile fights in the growing influencer boxing landscape.

In a recent interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, he revealed that he is working towards booking his next fight against social media influencer and former kickboxer Andrew Tate.

During the interview, Till attacked Tate’s brash and controversial persona, saying, “I don’t try to belittle women for my own ego. I have four daughters and a beautiful girlfriend. I’m girl power. If you’re gonna go around referring to yourself as ‘the Top G,’ you’re gonna have to come prove it.”

Till also took to social media to reveal the state of negotiations for their bout.

I can get the fight done with the Top Mong but I am gonna have to succumb to his demands & requests obviously cos he’s the Top Mong,” Till wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “I will agree to anything. He can have more money, choose the gloves, choose everything. I will simply train to do a demolition job on him.”

Tate responded to former UFC star Darren Till's callout, setting up a potential boxing match under the Misfits Boxing banner.

Tate dismissed the monetary incentive for himself, acknowledging Till’s career while subtly undermining his stature. He also positions himself as the A-side in any negotiations, threatening to pull out if he perceives Till to be rude to him in any way.

Darren also let Helwani know that he wants to fight in December, which should work for Tate as he goes on trial in June 2026 for allegations of sexual misconduct.

Going off of merit alone, is highly likely that Till would win if the fight since he is the younger, more accomplished, and more active fighter of the two. Tate, meanwhile, has not competed since 2020.

With words exchanged and negotiations underway, the ball now seems to be in Tate’s court. Time will tell to see if Tate will back up his words, and sign the contract to step into a ring against Till.
