Brock Lesnar proved he had the heart and grit to go with his incredible athletic ability in July 2010.

Three years prior, the WWE legend crossed over to MMA and made it look relatively easy.

‘The Beast Incarnate’ knocked out Randy Couture to become the UFC heavyweight champion in his fourth fight.

After that, Brock Lesnar battered Frank Mir to avenge the lone loss on his MMA record before squaring off against a 12-0 UFC bogeyman, who had stopped every opponent he’d fought in the first round.

Brock Lesnar rallied to beat Shane Carwin

Shane Carwin won four straight UFC fights by KO to earn his shot at heavyweight gold.

An interim title win over Frank Mir set up a massive unification bout with Lesnar at UFC 116.

The fight appeared to be over after one minute when Carwin unleashed a flurry of punches to floor his opponent, who momentarily curled up in a ball while big shots came flying at his bloodied face.

Carwin kept pummeling away for several minutes, but the referee refused to wave off the fight.

Lesnar somehow managed to withstand the onslaught and remain conscious until he saw an opening.

With about a minute left in round one, the champion initiated a scramble and got back up to his feet.

The first frame ended with Lesnar pressing his clearly exhausted rival up against the Octagon wall.

Carwin was breathing very heavily as he came out for the second round for the first time in his career.

Lesnar got an easy takedown before finally landing some punches of his own from top position.

Eventually, he locked up an arm triangle choke and kept squeezing until Carwin tapped out.

Lesnar wildly celebrated what is remembered as one of the best comeback wins in UFC history.

Will Brock Lesnar ever fight again?

Brock Lesnar walked away from MMA after beating Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in July 2016.

The result was later overturned to a no-contest after Lesnar failed a drug test.

Almost 11 years later, Lesnar hasn’t fought in MMA since, but there’s still talk of another comeback.

Boxing icon Butterbean and former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall recently called out Lesnar.

Last year, Dana White was forced to address the WWE icon’s future amid rumors of a return at UFC 300.

“I think Brock’s done. I don’t think he ever comes back,” the UFC CEO said.

At 47 years old, it seems certain that we will never see Lesnar inside the UFC Octagon ever again.
