Charles Jourdain lived up to his nickname at UFC Vancouver.
The Canadian fighter is 2-0 since dropping down to the UFC bantamweight division.
Born in Montreal, Charles Jourdain showed out for his home country on the main card of UFC Vancouver where he battled ‘Dangerous’ Davey Grant.
Jourdain put on one of the best performances of his career against the 15-fight UFC veteran.
It took Jourdain less than three minutes to find Grant’s chin.
After a little back-and-forth in the opening round, ‘Air’ Jourdain landed a beautiful flying knee on Grant’s face, sending him down to the ground.
“How is Davey Grant still trying to stay in this fight?” UFC commentator Paul Felder said as Grant was still conscious after the flying knee.

Jourdain landed nasty ground and pound strikes before jumping for a guillotine submission. Jourdain smiled just before Grant tapped out to the choke.
“How did he not go straight out off of that? That was perfect by Charles Jourdain. Beautiful jumping knee,” said UFC commentator Cormier.
“His face is destroyed,” Cormier said of Grant after the fight.

Jourdain had a .500 UFC record coming into UFC Vancouver.
On the roster since 2019, Jourdain’s second win in a row has him at 8-7-1 in the Octagon.
Jourdain has yet to lose at 135 lbs, the division he moved to after losing to Jean Silva last year.
We’ll see what’s next for the Canadian after turning in this highlight-reel finish.
