Charles Oliveira’s October was a good one, with the back-to-back wins putting him right back into the thick of things.

He made his long-awaited return to Brazil last weekend, where he picked up another career highlight after defeating Mateusz Gamrot by submission.

Oliveira ended any questions about whether he returned too soon from a knockout loss by putting together an impressive win at UFC Rio.

Even though the Brazilian was clear about what he wanted next following his victory on October 11, fighting inside the Octagon was not his only focus at that time.

Charles Oliveira secures wins on back-to-back weekends after achieving success in horse racing

Following his win at UFC Rio, which was widely praised by figures like Joe Rogan, Oliveira wasted no time moving on to another competitive pursuit.

Although he is still in search of major fights within the UFC, his ambitions extend beyond just adding another title belt to his collection.

Earlier this year, a tour of his Brazilian home showcased his profound love for animals and their integral role in his daily life.

It was this passion for horses that took him to Argentina recently, where he did not hesitate to share the news of his latest achievement in racing.

Posting on Instagram after winning what he called “the national race,” Oliveira described it as another dream come true.

“Today I realized another great dream of mine, to win in Argentina. A great career with GORA MERMERBY ESCORPION. It means even more in a prize grid like the national race. Thank you to everyone who helps me and believes in my dreams. Thank you.”

Max Holloway responds to Charles Oliveira’s BMF title challenge

Following two consecutive demanding weekends, Oliveira has proposed that he will not fight again until June 2025.

The Brazilian seemed to be eyeing a showdown with Max Holloway for the BMF title, hoping to make it happen at the UFC’s planned event at the White House.

But Holloway pushed back against that timeline, making it clear he was not on board with waiting that long.

During his Kick stream on October 11, he said he preferred an earlier return and pointed to Las Vegas in February as his ideal date.
