Guida was one of a trio of fighters UFC CEO Dana White said that he'd like to see retire during the UFC 310 Post-Fight Press Conference.  On Tuesday, Guida released a statement and vowed that he 'will be back.'

“The kids got some skills!!! Congratulations to you and your camp @choop556. What a performance!!! You have a bright future young man," Guida wrote on Instagram. "Thanks to everyone in the GUIDA MAFIA that came to Vegas to support us and the rest of the athletes!!! We truly have the best fans in the World!!! Guida has lost five of his last seven fights, including the last three in a row.  He hasn't put together back-to-back wins since 2017.  The 43-year old has the second most bouts in UFC lightweight history but also holds the record for the most losses in the promotion.
