Conor McGregor Says He’s 'Saved and Healed,' Eyes UFC Return and BKFC Growth

Conor McGregor says he’s entered a new chapter—spiritually and competitively—as he pushes to return to the UFC while championing his role as a part-owner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC).

“Saved… and Healed”

Speaking at the BKFC 83 pre-fight press conference in Rome, after similar remarks at BKFC 82 in Newark, McGregor framed his recent months as a spiritual turn:

“There is a higher power… I’ve engaged on a spiritual journey, and I am saved. I’m saved, and I am healed… My competitive spark… is now a roaring blaze.”

McGregor said he’s “gone inward” to recalibrate and is “very, very excited” to return to action. Now a part-owner, McGregor has repeatedly described BKFC as a tight-knit promotion “growing together,” praising fighters for their willingness to entertain and “do what they were called to do.”

White House Ambitions—But No Official UFC Bout (Yet)

McGregor has campaigned to fight on the proposed UFC event at the White House next summer, though the promotion has not announced his comeback. He last competed at UFC 264, suffering a broken leg in his trilogy with Dustin Poirier.

Legacy Talk: What Worked—and What Didn’t

Reflecting on a career that includes two UFC titles, a blockbuster boxing match with Floyd Mayweather, multiple businesses, and highly public legal troubles, McGregor said he wants his legacy to serve as a lesson:

“I showed what works, and… what doesn’t. Now I’m in a stage where I come back and show again what I’m about.”

Conor McGregor is pitching a revival spiritual, competitive, and entrepreneurial. The words are set, now the fight world waits on a date.
