Cris Cyborg reminded the MMA world once again why her name belongs in the all-time great conversation. The 40-year-old legend delivered another vintage performance Saturday, dominating previously unbeaten judo specialist Sara Collins to win the PFL women’s featherweight title in the co-main event of PFL Europe 4 at LDLC Arena in Lyon, France.
Cyborg (29-2) secured the finish late in the third round, submitting Collins (6-1) with a rear-naked choke at 2:55 though the ground exchange wasn’t part of her initial game plan.

For two rounds, Cyborg systematically broke Collins down with her trademark power striking, battering the Australian with heavy combinations that left Collins struggling to close distance.
Early in Round 3, Collins found her moment executing a clean throw into a scarf-hold position, a textbook judo entry she desperately needed. But Cyborg showed why she’s one of the most complete fighters in women’s MMA history. She neutralized the position, reversed to her knees, slipped free, and immediately climbed to the back.
From there, the end was inevitable. Cyborg sank in the choke and forced the tap, handing Collins the first loss of her career.
CriCyborg has repeatedly said that 2026 will be her final year competing in MMA, but she isn’t planning on coasting into retirement. Instead, she shocked fans post-fight by calling for an ambitious showdown with Dakota Ditcheva, PFL’s 2024 women’s flyweight champion at 135 pounds.
The lowest Cyborg has ever competed in mainstream MMA was 140 pounds back in September 2016. Whether she can safely reach 135 remains unclear, but her enthusiasm suggests she’s more than willing to attempt it.
For Ditcheva, it would be the biggest fight of her career. For Cyborg, it would be one last historic challenge before closing the book on one of the most dominant runs the sport has ever seen.
