Cris Cyborg had a laugh watching Ronda Rousey’s return to fighting on Saturday night.

The former UFC women’s featherweight champion was there for MVP 1, which also happened to be the first MMA event streamed live on Netflix.

She watched from the stands at Inglewood’s Intuit Dome as Rousey caught Gina Carano in an armbar just 17 seconds into their fight.

Cyborg has never been shy about her criticism of Rousey, and she didn’t hold back after the MVP MMA main event.

Back in 2009, Cyborg knocked out Carano in Strikeforce, a fight that led to ‘Conviction’ stepping away from the sport for more than 17 years.

While they never faced each other in the cage, Cyborg has often aimed criticism at Rousey over that missed opportunity. Their relationship has never been friendly, and things haven’t improved after Rousey recently accused her of steroid use.

So it wasn’t surprising to see the PFL champion take another shot at Rousey after the fight. Speaking to Fight Hype TV as she was leaving MVP MMA 1, Cyborg echoed what many were feeling about the short main event.

The Brazilian even suggested she could take on both fighters at once and come out on top. “What do you guys think?” Cyborg said while laughing after being asked for her thoughts on the fight.

“Same day, both together. I’m ready, let’s do it,” she continued. “I already knew this (was going to happen). Gina was 17 years without fighting. This was the (fight) that Ronda Rousey chose.”

Cyborg then hinted at her own return to action, saying she expects her next bout to be a title defence of her PFL women’s featherweight belt. She captured that title last December by submitting Sara Collins at PFL Lyon, becoming the promotion’s first-ever champion in that division.
