Fans are wondering what more Terrance McKinney must do to get his first ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus in the UFC.

Saturday saw UFC Seattle take place at the Climate Pledge Arena, and a number of fighters delivered strong performances on an entertaining night of fights.

Before Joe Pyfer knocked out Israel Adesanya in the main event, one of the biggest winners on the undercard was McKinney.

The 31-year-old lightweight continued his habit of finishing things early inside the Octagon, but not everything went his way in Seattle.

Terrance McKinney’s performance bonus drought continued at UFC Seattle

McKinney knocked out Kyle Nelson in just 24 seconds in the first fight of Saturday’s main card.

Miraculously, ‘T Wrecks’ now has 17 first-round finishes in 18 professional wins in mixed martial arts. Eight have come in the UFC, but that has not seen him reap the rewards that many would have expected.

McKinney missed out on a bonus at UFC Seattle. Alexa Grasso’s brutal win over Maycee Barber earned her one of two ‘Performance of the Night’ bonuses, with the other going to Pyfer for his headline triumph.

That means McKinney has not received a single POTN bonus in the UFC, despite his tally of quick knockouts and submissions.

He somehow missed out on an additional $50k in his incredible debut five years ago, which saw McKinney knock out Matt Frevola in just seven seconds to set a new record for the fastest finish in lightweight history and the quickest debut.

The UFC did introduce finish bonuses for 2026, which ‘T Wrecks’ picked up at UFC Seattle. But in terms of the performance bonuses chosen by Dana White and co., which are now worth $100k, McKinney’s drought has continued.

Fans call out the UFC for continuing to ignore Terrance McKinney

It is safe to say that McKinney’s snub did not go unnoticed, and he has the support of the fans when it comes to his bonus claim.

Many are up in arms about the UFC’s decision to once again ignore ‘T Wrecks’ on the performance bonus list despite yet another rapid stoppage inside the Octagon.

“McKinney’s 24-sec KO got robbed again? UFC stingy af.”

“How much does the UFC hate Terrance McKinney?”

“A finish in the main event shouldn’t be an automatic bonus. McKinney and Douglas both should’ve gotten it over Pyfer.”

“Terrance McKinney is going to have to literally k**l someone to get a bonus. Insane how he’s never gotten one.”

“Terrance McKinney will have to commit the first murder in the octagon to get that POTN bonus.”

“Justice for @twrecks155.”

“Where is Terrence McKinney? Dude actually needs to get a knockout in 2 seconds in order to get a bonus.”

“Terrance Mckinney breaking records but yet never gets one.”
