Dana White has dedicated more than twenty years of his life to making UFC the biggest MMA promotion in the world. Despite getting older, White always ensures his presence at all major UFC events, handling important responsibilities. Apart from his professional life, the UFC CEO is a proud family man and recently shared moments where personal life took priority.
Ahead of the upcoming UFC 318 event in Louisiana, White has given several interviews in order to promote the card. During one of his interviews with Candy Funhouse, the host asked him about getting the ‘craziest’ call in between UFC events. Upon thinking about it, White shared an incident where he got an emergency call from his family about an unfortunate accident.
I think we were in Texas and it was a Cormier fight. My daughter was really young and the dog at that we had at that time ripped her ear off and as you can imagine my wife was losing her mind and everybody was freaking out. So, I ran over and grabbed our UFC doctor from Vegas and got a plastic surgeon. Not only the dog ripped her ear off but it topped her ear in half. So, my wife had to pick her ear and had to go to the hospital and have her ear sewn back.

White’s daughter is Savannah White, born in August 2006, is now a 19‑year‑old. Despite keeping a generally private life, Savannah has shared heartfelt moments with her father, like her touching Valentine’s Day message calling him her “first ever Valentine.” White has described raising Savannah as “tougher” than raising his sons and maintains stricter protective rules out of deep paternal care.

Despite generally avoiding personal controversies, White went viral after a video surfaced showing him striking his wife at a nightclub in 2023. The incident drew widespread criticism, prompting the CEO to publicly apologize for his actions during multiple interviews. White admitted there was “no excuse” for his behavior, and admitted that his children were really angry at him at that time.
Recently, President Donald Trump announced a historic UFC event at the White House, celebrating America’s 250th Independence Day anniversary. This unique spectacle will transform the South Lawn into a massive arena, hosting twenty thousand fans and creating unforgettable sporting moments.
Dana White has promised the White House event will feature the biggest UFC fight card ever. He aims to surpass last year’s UFC Noche event and the iconic UFC 300 card with the planned White House event .
The event symbolizes UFC’s continued growth, blending combat sports with American culture, and the relationship between White and Trump. The hype around the event is massive, and recently, during an interview with TMZ, White shared his upcoming meeting with the POTUS.
We’ve already put together the whole plan. We’ll have all the rendering and stuff done in the next couple of weeks. I’m gonna fly out to D.C., sit down with him and walk him through it, see what he likes, doesn’t like, and all that good stuff. Fourth of July in 2026, the 250th anniversary of the United States.

Top UFC superstars like Jon Jones and Conor McGregor have both entered the testing pool as they aim to fight on the historic White House UFC card next summer. Jones, after briefly retiring and vacating his heavyweight title, immediately got back after President Trump’s announcement.
He’s stated his intention to headline the event, motivated by his patriotism and targeting whoever holds the title by year-end. Meanwhile, McGregor, out since his 2021 leg injury, has confirmed he will be back for the White House event. Packing the fight card with Jones and McGregor could see the promotion surpassing previous record-breaking events.
