Whether you're fascinated by the intricacy of high-level jiu-jitsu or enjoy watching fighters wear down their opponents with their otherworldly cardio, knockouts will always be the main attraction for most fans. Those who tuned in to UFC Vegas 109 on Saturday were treated to one of the best stoppages of the year during the event's main card opener.
Christian Leroy Duncan and Eryk Anders helped get UFC Vegas 109's main card off to a flying start. The towering middleweights threw heavy leather for almost four minutes until Leroy Duncan landed a nasty spinning elbow and followed up with strikes to render Anders unconscious.
As good as the knockout was, Dana White has provided an update on social media that makes what we witnessed in the octagon that much more special. The spinning elbow was, of course, a standout moment on Saturday night, but the aftermath left Anders requiring stitches to fix the damage caused by the Brit.
A large gash opened up along Ander's eyebrow, and White has shared a picture of the injury via his Instagram.
