The upcoming UFC White House event is nearer than most people realize. And Dana White recently dropped a new update regarding the card. The UFC CEO recently revealed that the planned event on the South Lawn of the White House will have much more exclusive attendance than any PPV card.
Speaking recently, the UFC CEO explained that tickets will not be publicly available and will instead be distributed through invitation-only allotments to a select group.
“The president wants every branch of the military represented at the fight,” White said, adding that there could ultimately be “more military personnel there than regular invited guests.”

This comes just days after White revealed that President Donald Trump will control the largest share of invitations, while White himself and TKO executive Ari Emanuel will each receive a smaller allotment.
White also hinted that world leaders may attend the historic card, further increasing the scale and security surrounding the event. The UFC White House show, expected to take place as part of America’s 250th anniversary celebrations, would mark the first time a professional combat sports event is held on White House grounds.
A while back, Joe Rogan issued a stern warning to Dana White about potential security breaches the UFC White House event could create. During an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC color commentator shared his views on this with comedian Mark Normand.
The tensions between the United States and Iran fueled his concerns. From a security standpoint, Rogan also noted that unpredictable weather conditions could negatively impact both the fighters and the live audience. Unlike standard UFC cards held inside controlled arenas, Freedom 250 would bring a completely different set of challenges and uncontrollable factors.
“It’s kind of a gimmick… It’s just going to be a security nightmare. You’re on the White House lawn. Also, they’re fighting outside. What if it rains? What if it’s hot?… June in D.C. can get pretty warm. That affects fighters,” Rogan stated.

Fortunately, though, Dana White now appears to be taking action on Rogan’s warnings. The latest revelation about heightened security and the presence of military personnel indicates a serious effort to avoid the kind of vulnerabilities Rogan previously warned about.
