Dana White Set To Announce Alex Pereira's Next Fight

Dana White is expected to announce Alex Pereira's return to heavyweight this weekend at UFC 332, honoring a social media challenge after a fan post calling for the announcement hit 27,000 comments.

White had agreed to make the announcement if an Instagram post from influencer Nina Drama reached 25,000 comments: "Let's do 25,000 [comments]," White

Pereira vacated the light heavyweight title earlier this year, and his move to heavyweight comes with Josh Hokit and Ciryl Gane already ruled out as opponents, since the two are set to meet for the undisputed heavyweight title at UFC 334.

UFC 332 is headlined by Natalia Silva vs. Wang Cong for the vacant women's flyweight title, a matchup created after Valentina Shevchenko vacated the belt due to injury.
