Demetrious Johnson showed he’s not to be messed with when a recent sparring session got out of hand.

The former UFC flyweight champion retired as one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time in September 2024.

Lately, he’s been trying to help viral street fighter ‘Death Sentence’ prepare for his Streetbeef bouts.

‘Mighty Mouse’ had more success coaching another street fighter by the name of ‘Winged C’.

Beforehand, he shared a round of sparring with Demetrious Johnson, who showed his level with one shot.

The former fighter spent the majority of the session covering up, despite being taunted by his opponent.

“Chat, make him hit harder,” ‘Winged C’ said.

“Yes! Good boy. Good boy.

“I think I have to rage bait you.”

With just seconds left on the clock, Johnson took the bait and dropped ‘Winged C’ with a perfect head kick.

Why Demetrious Johnson dropped ‘Winged C’

During a post-spar interview, Johnson explained what he thought about his opponent trying to goad him into a real fight.

The MMA icon ultimately revealed why he decided to meet fire with fire in the final seconds.

“When you spar somebody, you have to have some form of respect,” Johnson said.

“You go out there, you touch gloves, and you move around.

“He wanted me to hurt him, essentially. I’m not about that life anymore.

“He kept saying, ‘Good boy!’ Does he realize I’m f—ing 38 years old and I’ve done this for 20 f—ing years?’

“I’m not going to lie, I was about to go to a little f—ing dark place.”
