Domino’s Pizza pokes fun at Tai Tuivasa after latest setback extends losing streak

There’s one area where Tai Tuivasa has clearly fallen off since returning to the UFC earlier this year.

Fans have been calling for Tuivasa to hang up his gloves following a string of defeats inside the Octagon.

Back in 2022, ‘Bam Bam’ was riding a wave of momentum, putting together five straight finishes on his way toward title contention. But he hasn’t tasted victory since then.

This weekend’s loss stretched Tuivasa’s losing streak to seven, and even a Domino’s Pizza account got involved on social media, poking fun at his recent run of form.

Tai Tuivasa’s coach was hopeful that he could turn things around after a long period of inactivity earlier this year, and it appeared that he was showing some signs of improvement in the Octagon.

However, things did not go his way. Following the defeat, MMA reporter Giorgi Kokiashvili reposted an old photo of ‘Bam Bam’ in his Domino’s Pizza uniform.

The Georgian social media account for the pizza chain responded to a comment asking what to do about a half-eaten pizza delivery by simply saying, “Wrestle.”

While losses to Ciryl Gane and Sergei Pavlovich were largely striking battles, recent defeats have highlighted another issue in his game.

Sutherland went 5/8 on takedown attempts and managed over 12 minutes of control time, ultimately securing a unanimous decision victory over Tuivasa.
