Eddie Hall Calls Out Conor McGregor – ‘It Would Be Dangerous’

Eddie Hall, the former World’s Strongest Man, has named his hitlist after his MMA debut win over Mariusz Pudzianowski.

Hall stopped Pudzianowski at KSW 105 in a 30 second KO to mark a successful transition into the sport. Naturally, the attention turned towards his future. Hall was linked with a fight against the former UFC Heavyweight Champion and current PFL Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou. Hall dismissed that fight immediately, saying his focus is to rematch Pudzianowski.

Once the rematch is over, Hall has a list of targets. One of those mentioned was Conor McGregor. The Notorious has not had a combat sports fight since his 2021 loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. He was scheduled to face Michael Chandler in his comeback fight at UFC 303. However, the fight never went ahead as McGregor pulled out with a toe injury. But given that Hall is at least 100 pounds heavier than McGregor, the fight is unlikely.

“I would love to fight Conor McGregor. I think the weight difference would be absolutely comical. There is weight classes for that reason. It would be dangerous, on Conor’s behalf,” Hall

Hall’s Options

Other names on his list included Brock Lesnar. The latter made his name in WWE before transitioning into the UFC. However, his time in the UFC was marked by controversy after failing a dope test against Mark Hunt at UFC 200. But if Hall had a choice, he would not want this fight. He could, though, be tempted if the money was right.

“Brock Lesnar is one of the scariest men on this planet. He’s fought world champions and he’s done bloody good. Brock Lesnar is a phenomenal athlete. “His jujitsu is through the roof. He’s probably one of the last men on the planet I’d want to fight. “Again, though, if the money was right, you would take a chance,” Hall

To round things off, Hall even suggested a 2vs1 handicap fight against Logan Paul and Jake Paul. The two brothers have a wrestling background. Logan is currently focused on WWE, while Jake has made a name for himself in boxing. The fight would no doubt do big numbers, with Hall knowing it presents less risk than some of the other names mentioned.
