‘Everybody Would Hate Me’ – UFC Fan Favorite Eyes WWE Run Amid Talks with Triple H

The crossover between the UFC and WWE continues to gain momentum. From Brock Lesnar’s dominance in both arenas to Ronda Rousey’s successful run inside the squared circle, the transition from the octagon to the ring is no longer seen as a gimmick—it’s a legitimate next chapter. And now, one current UFC star is planting seeds for his own future on the WWE stage.

Michael Chandler, 39, has never hidden his love for professional wrestling. The man lives for big moments and bigger entrances.

In a recent interview with The Schmo, the UFC lightweight contender spoke candidly about ongoing conversations with none other than Triple H regarding a potential WWE contract.

'So, I was talking to WWE or talking to Triple H about my WWE contract. So, we're trying to make that happen.'

'He knows I'm a fan of WWE... He's obviously a fan of what I bring to the table from an entertainment standpoint, what I can do on the microphone.'

Chandler’s brand is built on intensity, and he didn’t pull any punches when imagining a WWE debut:

'I would go in there and absolutely f everybody up... I’d wreck shop and probably turn the entire organization on its head.'

His villain arc? Already scripted:

'Everybody would hate me because Triple H is going to love me—just like the UFC.'

He’s not here to make friends—he’s here to steal the spotlight.

Even his dream opponent is pure spectacle:

'Rey Mysterio Jr. would be freaking fun.'

'Give me a little bit of training and I’ll be doing double back flips off and landing on people.'

Who needs subtlety when you’re dreaming in suplexes and fireworks?

With charisma, combat pedigree, and crowd command, Chandler’s leap to WWE doesn’t feel like a matter of if—only when. And if it happens, expect chaos, promos, and a few gravity-defying flips along the way.
