Alexa Grasso earned a unanimous decision over Manon Fiorot at Noche UFC 4, putting herself back in title contention at flyweight.
Grasso started fast, wobbling Fiorot with a left hand before dropping her with a right later in the round and following up with heavy ground-and-pound. Fiorot survived and found more success in the second and third rounds, cutting Grasso above the eye and landing side kicks, but the early damage proved decisive. All three judges scored it 29-28 for Grasso.
The win extends Grasso's bounce-back run following losses to Valentina Shevchenko and Natalia Silva, having already scored a knockout over Maycee Barber earlier this year. With Shevchenko sidelined for the year, Grasso is expected to face the winner of Silva's upcoming title fight against Wang Cong at UFC 332 on October 3.
