Khamzat Chimaev was quick to share his thoughts on the UFC Vancouver main event.
Reinier de Ridder and Brendan Allen squared off in a middleweight title eliminator on Saturday night.
‘RDR’ looked good early, but ended up getting outgrappled before gassing out at UFC Vancouver.
After four rounds, the former two-weight ONE Championship titleholder’s corner threw in the towel.
Khamzat Chimaev needed just five words to make his feelings about Reinier de Ridder very clear.
The UFC middleweight champion accused the Dutchman of ‘giving up’ against Brendan Allen.
“This bulls— guy give up,” Chimaev tweeted.
Allen called for a shot at Chimaev’s title during his post-fight speech, but that doesn’t seem likely.
Nassourdine Imavov is surely the frontrunner after beating Allen, Israel Adesanya, and Caio Borralho during his ongoing five-fight UFC win streak.

Khamzat Chimaev sent a message to Alex Pereira following his light heavyweight title win at UFC 320.
“@AlexPereiraUFC Congrats, now we need to finish our business,” the 185lb king wrote on X.
Alex Pereira is hoping to secure a fight with Jon Jones at heavyweight. So, when ‘Poatan’ responded, he simply shut down talk of a potential clash with Chimaev.
“Thanks for congratulating me, but all I want is a super fight. I wanna fight at heavyweight, but all I can say is thank you,” Pereira said at his post-fight press conference.
Chimaev has since doubled down on his callout by revealing the only way Pereira can beat him.
“If you ask me, of course, I would love to fight for the second belt,” he told Arslanbek Badaev. “It’s not a secret, the guy who has got the belt at 205lbs now is a very good matchup for me — except if I should get reckless standing with him.”
