Merab And Cory’s Heated Exchange – ‘I’m Gonna Put My Knee Through Your Face’

Merab Dvalishvili and Cory Sandhagen went after each other during their final presser in the run up to their UFC 320 bantamweight belt clash this weekend.

Dvalishvili is considered one of the greatest bantamweights ever, as he is undefeated in his last 13 fights. The bantamweight champion defeated Sean O’Malley for the second time in his last fight at UFC 316, making that the second defense of his title. He had beaten Umar Nurmagomedov (UFC 311) and O’Malley (UFC 306) prior to his latest win.

As for Sandhagen, he is also on an impressive run of form. He has secured four wins from his last five, with a win over Deiveson Figueiredo in May. Much has been said about the tactics heading into this fight. Merab has suggested that he will look to do more striking, although his strengths lie in his grappling. As for Cory, the question remains whether he will be able to deal with the takedowns to utilize his vast arsenal. Both fighters were not letting up.
