Merab Dvalishvili put his name on a legendary list of fighters by winning at UFC 316.
‘The Machine’ made it look easy as he submitted Sean O’Malley in the third round of their bantamweight title rematch on Saturday night.
In doing so, Merab Dvalishvili made it 13 victories in a row inside the famous UFC Octagon.
The epic feat has been achieved by Jon Jones, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and six other MMA legends.
Six fighters have won 13 fights in a row, all of whom are among the greatest of all time.
Jon Jones, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Georges St-Pierre, Max Holloway, and Demetrious Johnson all achieved the feat during their legendary UFC runs.
Dvalishvili still has some work to do if he hopes to put together the longest win streak of all time.
Anderson Silva‘s 16 consecutive UFC wins is the longest-perfect run in company history.
Kamaru Usman and Islam Makhachev are just behind him with 15 perfect UFC bouts in a row.
At 34 years old, there’s no reason why Dvalishvili won’t catch those in front of him in the next few years.
#UFC316's Merab Dvalishvili is on the cusp of joining the exclusive club of 13 straight UFC wins or more.

Merab Dvalishvili made it clear who he wants to fight next in the immediate aftermath of UFC 316.
“I would love,” he said when Joe Rogan mentioned the possibility of facing Cory Sandhagen.
“I like the opponent. Cory, I love you, bro. I like your jokes lately, keep joking, keep having good fights, bro.
“I like this… He’s the most deserving guy, he’s been here so many times and he’s a really good guy.
“A really respectful guy, I like his jokes too.
