Mokaev Answers White's Challenge After Two Years Away

Muhammad Mokaev is reminding Dana White that he took the UFC president's advice.

The undefeated flyweight posted a video on X over the weekend calling for a return to the promotion that released him two years ago, pointing to a string of wins across multiple combat sports since his departure. Mokaev most recently captured the ACBJJ 60kg title with a decision over Moris Boleian at ACBJJ 22 in Istanbul, per Sherdog.

Five Wins And Two Belts Since 2024 Release

Mokaev has gone 4-0 in MMA since leaving the UFC, claiming the Brave CF flyweight championship in November before adding a finish under the Spanish WOW banner. He also competed in Karate Combat last year, stopping his opponent in round two. In the video, he addressed White directly: "Dana said two years ago, 'he can become champion somewhere else.' Yes, I became Brave CF champion. I became ACB jiu-jitsu champion. I won five fights, four finishes within two years, staying busy, staying active and showing the world why I'm the best flyweight in the world."

The UFC opted not to renew Mokaev's contract in 2024 despite his unblemished record, a decision that drew criticism at the time. His final Octagon appearance was a grinding decision over Manel Kape following several heated exchanges between the two fighters in the buildup, a performance that reportedly did not impress UFC brass.

Mokaev, now 26, remains unbeaten at 17-0 across all his professional bouts and continues to campaign for another shot at the flyweight rankings.
