Vadim Nemkov will defend his PFL heavyweight title against Sergei Bilostenniy on Nov. 14 at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, the promotion announced Saturday.
Nemkov carries a 20-2 record into the fight. Bilostenniy, ranked third in the division at 15-4, climbed through the heavyweight bracket to earn his shot. Both fighters trained under Fedor Emelianenko, setting up a clash between proteges of the Russian heavyweight legend.
PFL CEO John Martin told MMA Mania that Dubai holds a special place in the promotion's calendar. "This November, we're raising the stakes again with the PFL Heavyweight World Championship on the line," he said. "Both fighters have roots in Team Fedor and represent the next generation of Russia's storied heavyweight tradition."
Pre-sale tickets went live Saturday, with general sale opening Sept. 8 through the promotion's website. Dubai Sports Council Vice Chairman Khalfan Juma Belhoul said the event will boost regional sports tourism and provide a platform for PFL MENA roster fighters to reach a global audience.
The Dubai card sits between PFL Chicago on Oct. 16 and PFL Lyon on Dec. 19, with an MVPW event scheduled for Nov. 8.
